Nearly there! Only nine more chapters to re-revise, and the amazing story of my great grandfather's life will be ready to enter the world. As 2013 comes to a close you will notice that the title has changed from Testing the Gods to The Notorious Dr Epstein. Why? Aha, that was part of the adventure of writing his story -- to be revealed here as we go along with the adventure of writing and publishing the book. And it is being an adventure. What do you think of the two titles?
Next task for this blogsite is to create a new page with the full and correct synopsis. I have moved the earlier blog posts (April 2011-March 2013) as one page to a new 'archived' page (link on right). There are factual errors in it (Sister Sadie was never a countess for instance); and it is incomplete as I only started the blurby style synopsis with EE's return to the USA in 1867. There is SO much more fascinating life before that. So... synopsis to come.
Meanwhile the Chapter Outline is revised, updated and complete. All 37 chapters, their (I hope to you) tantalizing titles and the dates and places of the events of Ephraim M Epstein's epic life.
